With the increased travel speeds of today’s container sts cranes, automated overhead and gantry cranes and high speed transfer cars the need for energy absorbing hydraulic bumpers (also known as buffers depending on your location) is greater than ever.
End stops are commonplace in docks and ports, at the end of rails accommodating cranes and railway lines delivering bulk material or cargo to a port. End stops are also used in factories and steel mills with cranes and major machinery to remove some of the high stresses endured by the buildings when cranes reach their destination. Very occasionally, moving equipment can fail to stop or slow down sufficiently, resulting in a risk of collision or overriding the end of the platform/line. Fitting efficient and effective end stops protects passengers, rolling stock and infrastructures in the rare events that trains or cranes fail to stop.
Stroke length below 300mm, the max side load angle is 2.5°; above 300mm, the max side load angle can be 1°; make sure all set screws are fixed, recommend using thread glue.

In order to enlarge the buffers life span, if the buffer is used in safety emergency application, we recommend you to do the maintenance every 6 months.
1. Please check rod seal to see if oil leakage or not.
Piston Rod should be handled carefully not to be damaged or scratched, clear up the dusty and corrosive, coating oil to avoid rusty.
2.Whenever necessary, please check the locking condition of Bolt and set screws at any time and fasten tight due to the strong impact
3.compare with the dimension when piston rod completely restored in catalogue. If can’t be fully restored, please add pneumatic in air bag, you can ask us to get operation manual.
Please check the expansion & recovering status of piston rod,
Inspection of gas pressure and injection.
Pressure of Gas Chamber can be injected at 3~10bar, standard product is charged at 5bar.Air Plug will be shown if you remove the fixed Buffer Head with Bolt. Open the Cap of Air
Plug, check the gas pressure or fill up the gas by gas injector.
In case of dispatch the product, nitrogen gas’s charged and we recommend the use of nitrogen gas but it does not matter if you use the other gas.But we recommend the use of dry
gas without salt.
Air Plug which is used in BDC can last the high pressure for long times and keep fastened during vibration.
In case of filling gas or air, you can use the Air injector for general automobile tire.
If you wind forward right, it’s locked
If you wind it forward left, it’s unlocked
How to use the gas injector
(1)Setting the pressure to 3~5 bar at Regulator attached Gas Tank.
(2)Inject gas after setting the clamp at gas port.
(3)Wind up the Closing Knob forward right in order to lock at the condition of installing clamp of Gas injector at Air Plug.
